“What is it, Veterans’ Day?”

Trek in a stunned voice: “Are you staying home today?”
Xan: “Trek, it’s a holiday weekend.”
Navy: “What is it, Veterans’ Day?”
We had a very nice dinner with Xan’s family in Gaston yesterday. My mother-in-law’s turkey was prepared to perfection with lots of good stuff to go with it. Xan’s two pumpkin pies were pretty great, too. My contribution was to fill up the whipped cream dispenser.
Feeling appropriately bloated this morning.
