I spent a week in Bali about 6 years ago and this brought back a lot of memories. My wife and I had a monkey forest experience as well. She had a small bag with candy bar wrappers and Tylenol pills in her hand, and a monkey crept up from behind and snatched it, flew up a tree and ate several Tylenol packets.
